MLK Day Celebration
January 20th, join us for a day of reflection while celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his everlasting example of activism. His strategies continue to set the tone of global modern social movements. The celebration will feature a showing of "King in the Wilderness" and an after film discussion lead by filmmaker, activist, and national spokesman Commonwealth of the National Black community (CNBC) Cairo Rashideen. There will also be activities for younger visitors encouraging them to learn the language to communicate about equity, our neighborhoods, and self-determination.
Admission is FREE courtesy of the Afrofuture Society.
Date and Time: The museum is open normal business hours 11 AM to 4 PM the discussion starts at 2 pm
